A pudding-like sauce for over bread pudding or ice cream.
Butterscotch Sauce
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp. corn starch
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp. corn starch
1 cup milk
Melt butter. Add brown sugar. When sugar is dissolved add cream and bring to a boil. Mix milk and corn starch in a cup and add to the boiling sauce. Return to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir until it stops bubbling.
