Sage Biscuits

Florence makes chicken and vegetable gravy and bakes these on top like pot pie. It is very yummy!!

Sage Biscuits

2 cups flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry sage
1/2 teaspoon cumin
6 Tablespoon shortening
3/4 cup milk

Cut shorting and dry stuff together. Add milk. Roll onto floured surface and cut into circles or triangles about an inch thick. Place on cookie sheet.


Bake at 450 for 12 minutes.
