Banana White Chocolate Loaf

I watched this bread being made on a cooking show and just had to try it. This combination of white chocolate and banana is so satisfying! I did have to make a few changes so it would taste a little more banana-ey!

Banana White Chocolate Loaf
Yield: 1 loaf

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup banana, mashed
1/2 cup white chocolate, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a bread pan.

Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Add dry ingredients and banana (alternating wet and dry). Fold in chopped white chocolate. Spread batter into pan.

Bake for 30 minutes or until done. Allow to cool 10 minutes in the pan then remove and cool on a rack.

Melt white chocolate and drizzle onto the loaf of bread.
